Moving in the woods with the savage had been very smooth until Andrews noticed they were being followed. He figured that whoever was following them was good, and he wouldn’t have noticed if it were not for the training he had undergone when he was working with the Navy Seals.

About six years ago, when Andrews joined the Seals, they had undergone very rigorous training, so most of the newer recruits were very tired, and every one of them, including Andrews, had gone into a deep sleep. However, their superiors had another thought in mind as they woke them up about four hours after they had released them, and they had taken them into the woods. They were told that they should evade the experts that had been strategically placed to track them, and if they fail to evade them, they will end up being tased.

Most of the other soldiers ended up being tased because, besides being tired, they were also tracked by experts. However, one soldier stood out and evaded all the experts that had been put after him, and that soldier was Andrews.

Like the other soldiers, Andrews was also very tired, so he was as vulnerable as the rest of them. The only thing that made him stand out among the other soldiers was the fact that ever since he was a kid, he had been very sensitive if someone was around him; it was like a sixth sense for him. This made it easy for him to locate the experts, regardless of how stealthy they were. He would notice if one was around, and he would find a way away from them, and as such, he evaded all the expert trackers that had been put on him.

Normally, Andrews would have noticed the savages if he was in the right state of mind, but because his mind was on saving Tracy, he didn’t notice the savages, and it wasn’t until they had a few kilometers before they reached their colony of caves that he noticed they were being followed.

He had stopped suddenly, and the remainder of them stopped immediately after him because they trusted his instincts from being a former soldier. The savages had been very stealthy. Even when they were a few yards away from them, the others, apart from Andrews, noticed there was an aberration.

“What is going in?” Dean said as he looked around fearfully. He had been very wary of their surroundings because he was afraid that the savages would follow them. After killing so many of them and scattering the remainder of their fighters, Dean was certain that they would follow, and Andrews suddenly stopping might mean that they were in imminent danger.

“I sense that we are being followed,” Andrews said in a voice above a whisper but loud enough for all of them to hear him.

“What do you hear?” Emily asked as she looked around and found nothing.

“Don’t move,” Andrews said and turned his head sharply, and as he had felt, there they were, hiding behind the thick shrubs.
